Who we are
CLIP CARTEL runs a studio for creating carousel posts and tweet-style video posts for social media pages. This policy explains what information we handle when you use clipcartel.net and the studio, and what you can do about it. You can reach us at support@clipcartel.net.
What we collect
- Account details: the name, email address and password you enter when you register or log in.
- Your projects and settings: carousel and video layouts, themes, text styles, and the choices you make in the editors.
- Media you upload: photos, logos and video clips you add to the editors so you can build your posts.
- Messages you send us: anything you write to support, including the Discord community and email.
Where your data is stored
In the current version of the studio, your account and your projects are stored in your web browser on the device you use. Your saved settings stay on that device and are not copied to our servers as part of the studio itself.
When we move accounts to secure servers before public launch, this policy will be updated to say where that data is kept and how long we keep it.
How we use your information
- To create and run your account, so you can sign in and open the studios.
- To keep your projects and settings available when you return to the studio.
- To answer your questions and fix problems you report.
- To keep the site working and secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing and third parties
We do not share your personal information for advertising. The site links to third-party services, such as the CLIP CARTEL Discord community and social media, which have their own privacy policies. Please review those policies before you join or share information with them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Sign-in is not yet secure enough for public use. Please do not reuse a password from another service. Before public launch, accounts will move to secure storage with encrypted passwords.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: email us to ask what we hold about you or to correct it.
- Deletion: email us to ask us to delete your account and related information.
- Clearing local data: clearing your browser's site data removes the account and projects stored on that device.
Children
The studio is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from younger children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the studio develops. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
