What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is similar: it keeps information in your browser so a site can remember things between visits. Both are used by many websites to work properly.
What we store
CLIP CARTEL uses browser local storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
- Sign-in session: keeps you logged in when you return to the site.
- Account details: your account is saved in your browser so you can sign back in.
- Studio settings and projects: your saved layouts, themes, text styles and editor settings, so your work is still there when you come back.
These are needed for the studio to work. Without them, you would need to set up your work again each time.
Third-party links
Some links, such as the Discord community button, open other websites. Those websites may set their own cookies when you visit them. Their cookie practices are described in their own policies.
Managing your data
- You can clear local storage and cookies for clipcartel.net in your browser's settings at any time.
- Clearing this data signs you out and removes saved projects and settings from that browser.
- Most browsers also let you block cookies, but the studio may not work properly if you block local storage.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the site develops, such as when account data moves to secure servers. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
